Student can define dental implant and osseointegration, can describe the components of implant, can enumerate the indications, contraindications, advantages and disadvantages of dental implants.
Student can develop treatment planning for implant supported crowns and fixed partial dentures.
Student can develop treatment planning for implant retained overdentures.
Student can be acquainted with the fabrication procedures of implant supported fixed partial dentures, can describe the fabrication steps and can establish relationship between tooth- and implant supported fixed partial dentures.
