Define the properties of industrial textiles,
Explain the future trends and market scenarios of the industrial textiles,
Predict technology and material trends for the future of industrial textiles,
Define the fiber, yarn and fabric structures and properties used in industrial textiles,
Define the properties of textile composites,
Identify and develop data collection instruments and measures for researches done about industrial textiles,
Conduct a literature survey about the researches on industrial textiles,
Define a research topic, and integrate information from various sources about the selected topic,
Identify and develop data collection instruments and measures for planning and conducting a scientific research about the selected topic,
Present the results of the research findings and analyzes to fellow classmates in an oral presentation.

4. Week  Fiber, yarn structures used in industrial textiles,
5. Week  Fabric structures used in industrial textiles,
6. Week  Finishings applied in industrial textiles: composition and types of industrial finishings,
7. Week  Oral presentation of Project no:1
8. Week  Filtration textiles: market share and range of filtration textiles, principles of particle retention,
9. Week  Filtration textiles:filter media design/ selection criteria, yarn construction and properties,
10. Week  Textiles in hoses, textiles in transmission and conveyor belts, textiles in ropes,
11. Week  Packing textiles and materials,
12. Week  miscellaneous applications in industrial textiles: tissue engineering, acoustic uses, dacatizing cloth,
13. Week  miscellaneous applications in industrial textiles: boiling cloth,membrane fabric,battery and fuel cell, etc.
