Explain the principles and processes of printing,chemical printing technologies and printing machines,
Define the printing methods according to fabric (fiber) types, combine various printing techniques together,
Develop skills in the use of various textile printing processes and materials
Demonstrate proficiency with and command of Photoshop CS6 in image compositing and manipulation
Analyze and discuss basic visual design principles and elements,
Learn about textile manufacturing traditions and methods in various parts of the non-Western and Western world
Prepare dyeing recipes,motifs and printing screens and templates to use together with digital printing
Demonstrate proficiency with basic photo correction concepts including importing, resolution, image size,
Demonstrate proficiency with cropping, tonal and color correction, use of filters
Understanding and utilization of layer principles such as stacking order, adjustment layers and moving a layer from one file to another

2. Week  Principles of textile printing; application (direct printing),Trigromi printing and discharge printing,Reserve Printing,
3. Week  Printing Methods; relief printing, roller printing, film druck printing,
4. Week  Screen printing and rotation printing machines,Finishings for printed fabrics, fixation methods, steaming.
5. Week  Chemical printing tecnologies,Printing colorants,Printing auxiliary chemicals,
6. Week  1st project presentation: Textile manufacturing traditions and methods in various parts of the non-Western and Western world
7. Week  Preparing pattern and screen,Gravure, reactive, pigment, disperse printing,Printing on cotton fabrics,
8. Week  Printing on synthetic and blended fabrics,Paste recipes, printing processes,
9. Week  Photoshop CS6-Image compositing and manipulation
10. Week  Photoshop CS6- Photo correction, concepts including importing, resolution, image size,
11. Week  Photoshop CS6-Cropping the picture or motif, tonal and color correction, use of filters
12. Week  Photoshop CS6-Understanding and utilization of layer principles such as stacking order, adjustment layers and moving a layer from one file to another
13. Week  2nd project presentation: Digital ethnic printing design portfolio
14. Week  Modification of the printing base using other printing techniques or textile chemicals
