Defines internationally recognized to basic principles and approaches in the field of conservation and restoration.
Executes to restoration and conservation practices with sharing individual or group as needed.
Enumerates to advantages and disadvantages of selects cleaning, consolidation and bonding- combine methods.
Organize to necessary materials preparation for stone cleaning, consolidation and bonding applications.
Performs to application of chosen method for stone cleaning, consolidation and bonding-combine methods.
Use basic application tools successfully for cleaning, consolidation and bonding for stone Works.
Prepare “the study report” after effective conservation applications for certification. Of stone works.

 --COURSE CONTENT
1. Week  Basic approaches and ethics about cleaning of stone work.
2. Week  Known methods for cleaning of historical objects, , appropriate –non-appropriate methods
3. Week  Cleaning methods and practices of black dirt layer. Cleaning of calcareous and calcareous layer.
4. Week  Cleaning rust stains and copper salts. Cleaning stains of organic matter
5. Week  Cleaning of painted and destroyed surfaces. Removal of soluble salts from the body of stone work
6. Week  Cleaning of plants and grasses and disinfection of microorganisms.
7. Week  Exam
8. Week  General criterias and appreciations for the selection of cleaning methods
9. Week  Consolidation and application methods for consolidation. The main differences between organic and inorganic consolidants
10. Week  Consolidation of stone according to the species. Criterias and assessments of selection consolidation methods and materials.
