Investigate characteristics, technical terms and concepts of materials, tools-supplies and equipment.
Apply conservation and restoration techniques and methods used in textile products.
Determine the properties of clothing and appropriate conservation methods and techniques.
Select material, instruments and equipment for repair.
Choose repair shape appropriate to the position and quality of the damage.
Determine the characteristics of the damage in clothing and make appropriate repairs.
Make control of clothes repair is made.

1. Week  Course description, information about the conservation and restoration concepts, conservation and restoration techniques used in textile product.
2. Week  Textile surface repair materials (yarns, fabrics, decoration materials, linings, interlining, etc.).
3. Week  Instruments and equipment used in the repair of damages (needles, hoop, scissors hand looms, washing vehicles).
4. Week  Fabric and material damages (burning, melting, wear, discolouration, tear, puncture, decomposition).
5. Week  Sewing damages (dismantling, breakage, wear, shrinkage).
6. Week  Decorations damages (unwinding, melting, breakage, wear, discolouration).
7. Week  Mid-term exam.
8. Week  Fabric repairs (woven fabrics, knitted fabrics, nonwovens).
