Have knowledge about the basic elements of folk music and have information about regional differences of folk music.
Have knowledge about the style of the compositions of various regions.
Assess the level of stylistic differences between regions the literary and musical point of view.

 --COURSE CONTENT
1. Week  Definition of the phenomenon of local folk music.Meanings ofthe concepts inthe literature and disclosure of a variety of examples of localperformances
2. Week  The basic elements of local folk music and reflections on these items.
3. Week  Folk music, typographic elements, melodious features, rhythmic features, morphological properties.
4. Week  Folk music, typographic elements, melodious features, rhythmic features and exemplifying the formal features of local varieties.
5. Week  The case of musical elements "Style" forming elements (melodious, rhythmic properties).
6. Week  Geographical features, historical events and social conditions of the region reflections form the performing style.
7. Week  Performances of local and traveling artists of the region reflections form the performing style.

9. Week  Types of verbal and verbal behavior is a defining feature, the "dialect" concept. Explanation of the various local dialects musical examples.
