will be able to determine sensors, actuators and hardware structure for any vehicle system
and they will be able to comprehend principles of designing electronic control unit.

 --WEEKLY SCHEDULE
1. Week  Embedded systems in vehicles, general structure of electronic control units
2. Week  Vehicle sensors (pressure, temperature, flow, oxygen)
3. Week  Vehicle sensors (speed, acceleration, position, yaw rate)
4. Week  Processing of analog and digital sensor signals, signal conditioner circuits, analog to digital converters (ADC)
5. Week  Vehicle control system microcontrollers, microcontroller architectures
6. Week  Peripheral units of microcontrollers (input/output, timers, counters, ADC, communication modules, PWM)
7. Week  Development environments of microcontrollers, software structures of microcontrollers, simulation software
8. Week  Midterm Exam, Real time operating system (RTOS)
9. Week  Actuators (relays, solenoids, injectors)
10. Week  Actuators (stepper motors, DC motors)
11. Week  Output stage elements (Bipolar transistor, Mosfet and IGBT) and output stage design
12. Week  Stepper motor and DC motor drivers
13. Week  Pulse width modulation (PWM) control technique
