Knows the types and uses of cement. Follows the developments in cement technology.
Knows chemical and pozzolanic additive types and follows the developments in concrete chemistry
Knows aggregate types and physical and mechanical properties
Knows the expected properties and factors affecting concrete.
Analyze behavior / deformation and distortion of concrete under external influences

1. Week  Examination of the chemical structure of the cement and analysis of the structures formed as a result of chemical reactions
2. Week  Analysis of cement types according to their chemical structures
3. Week  Types and properties of concrete aggregates and the required criteria
4. Week  Factors that negatively affect aggregate-cement harmony and improvement of negativities
5. Week  Types and properties of chemical and pozzolanic additives used in concrete. Advantages and disadvantages of using these additives
6. Week  Workability in fresh concrete. Fresh concrete reoliji. Effects of fresh concrete behavior on concrete qualty
7. Week  Shrinkage and swelling behavior of concrete.
8. Week  Midterm exam / Concrete and concrete types
9. Week  Special concrete types (high performance, reactive powder concrete) properties and behavior
10. Week  Special concrete types (fibrous and self-compacting concrete) properties and behavior
11. Week  Special concrete types (permeable-porous and vacuum concrete) properties and behavior
