  The mode of delivery of this course is Face to face.
 --WEEKLY SCHEDULE
1. Week  Unstable, stable, and critical equilibrium of structures. Eigenvalue problems.
2. Week  Mechanical models of structural stability. Methods of formulation of stability problems: equilibrium, energy and dynamic methods.
3. Week  Buckling of simply supported columns. Formulation using the 4th order differential equation.
4. Week  Buckling of columns with different boundary conditions.
5. Week  1st. Midterm Exam
6. Week  Energy methods of formulation: Rayleigh and Timoshenko methods.
7. Week  Buckling of columns with elastic supports.
8. Week  Bucking of frames.
9. Week  Applications concerning frames.
