Can analyze the converter circuits, define the variables and derive the formulas required for the design of the converters
Can design converters for any given specifications
Can determine the voltage and current stresses appearing on the switching elements, suggest and develop protection mechanisms to increase reliability
Can suggest design solutions for improved efficiency and better performance of converters
Can develop simulation models and perform simulation of converters
