Recognize the structure of the relationships with England, France, Italy and Germany in the foreign policy of Ottomans in the modern times.
Recognize the Ottoman-Napoleon wars in the foreign policy of Ottomans in the modern times.
Recognize the significance and meaning of the Greek Independence War in the foreign policy of Ottomans in the modern times.
Recognize the process whereby Mehmet Ali Paşa rebel took an international state in the foreign policy of Ottomans in the modern times.
Recognize the Ottoman State’s relationships with Russia and England in the foreign policy of Ottomans in the modern times.
Recognize the issue of the East in Europe.
Recongize the political-administrative structure of the Near East in the aftermath of Berlin Congress.

4. Week  Greek Independence War and Mehmet Ali Paşa (I) crisis (1821-1833).
5. Week  Mehmet Ali Paşa (II) crisis (1833-1841).
6. Week  England-Russia relationships and Crimean War (1841-1856).
7. Week  From the Paris Treaty to the Bosnian revolt (1856-1875).
8. Week  Crisis of the East, 1875-1878.
