Analyzes the concept of social movement.
Learns the relationship between social changes and social movements.
Learns the concepts of identity, collective action and cycles of protest.
Analyzes the steps of participation and networking, which have key importance in occurance of social movements.
Learns and analyzes how states police social movements.
Learns social movements in history and compares 20th and 21st century social movements.
Interprets the relationship between democracy, democratization and social movements.
