1. Week  What is ethnography?
2. Week  The short history of ethnographic research?
3. Week  Ethnographic Paradigms: samples of early ethnographies.
4. Week  Ethnographic Paradigms: samples of new ethnographies.
5. Week  Ethnographic Paradigms: establishment of ethnographic fieldwork.
6. Week  Doing fieldwork: planning, collecting, points of view and points of departure.
7. Week  Participant Observation

9. Week  Being “Native” and “Foreigner”
10. Week  Emic and ethic approaches, practice of ethnologist/folklorist, the problem of representation of community, relationship of subject (researcher) and ob
11. Week  Producing of data: how do we collect folkloric/ethnographic data? Recording the data: fieldwork notes (How and how long do we note?)
12. Week  Ethical problems: how does the researcher introduce himself/herself to the community? How does the researcher participate to the community?
13. Week  Experience of having the knowledge: position of the researcher, experience of fieldwork, “Self” and “Other”.
