Learning the knowledge dealing with the preparation of traditional head wear, competency in cognitive,
psychomotor and perceptive attitudes on the application of tools and materials used in the production of head wear
To comprehend the coulor and patter features traditional clothing and head ornamentation
To transform the traditional clothing and head ornamentation into touristic items with contemporary materials

 --COURSE CONTENT
1. Week  General knowledge about Traditional Head Wears , presentation with CD, examining Turkish head wears according to the regions, sample presentation
2. Week  Examining local head wears according to the regions and design the head to be applied
3. Week  Selection of material and ornamenting objects which will be applied on the head
4. Week  Preparing a mould and material application
5. Week  Taking the head wears out of the mould, border cleaning process
6. Week  Preparing the objects to be used in the ornamenting such as fabric, bead, harc, silver
7. Week  Mid-Term Exam
8. Week  Attaching the ornamenting objects on the head wear
9. Week  Project work: Preparing a head wear in a modern form inspiring from traditional head wears
10. Week  Adapting local head wear model into modern age and material selection
11. Week  Application of head wear
12. Week  Ornamenting with the materials
13. Week  Ornamenting with the materials
14. Week  Presentation of the Project
