To have an information about distillation methods, sublimation and crystallization methods in pharmacognosic separation procedures
To have a knowledge for the classification of chromatographic methods and their applications
To have an information about separation techniques and their aplications in pharmacognosic researches

2. Week  Conventional extraction methods, mechanical and solid-liquid extraction methods (maceration, digestion, infusion, decoction, percolation)
3. Week  Developed extraction methods (Microwave-Assisted Extraction, Pressurized Liquid Extraction)
4. Week  Developed extraction methods (Supercritical Fluid Extraction, Sonication-Assisted Liquid Extraction)
5. Week  Liquid-liquid extraction,Distillation methods and their applications
6. Week  Sublimation, cyrstallization techniques
7. Week  Classification of chromatographic methods
8. Week  Adsorption, Partition, Ion exchange, Size-exclusion and Affinity Chromatography
9. Week  Planar chromatography techniques (Paper Chromatograpy and Thin Layer Chromatography, High Performance Thin Layer Chromatography) and their aplications
