2. Week  Calculation of HLB value for surfactant mixtures
3. Week  Measurement of surface tension, turbidity and conductivity of surfactant solutions
4. Week  Construction of triangular phase diagrams
5. Week  Techniques for preparation of cream (oil/water coarse emulsion)(Vanishing cream)
6. Week  Techniques for preparation of cream (water/oil coarse emulsion)(Cold cream)
7. Week  Formulations of gel system, quality control of gel system
8. Week  Quality control of coarse emulsions, measurement of the droplet size
