Identify and consider the usability of textile structures in specific technical fields and applications
Analyse the production process and consuct design by meeting specific requirements,
Identify, show, formulate and assess the ability to solve problems about design problems related to technical textile field,
Explain the application areas and sectoral situation of technical textiles in Turkey and the world,
Identify and consider the general properties of technical textiles,
Explain the technical fabric structures, the coated technical textiles and reinforced composite materials,
Identify the properties of technical textiles according to the field of application (Agrotech, Geotech, Indutech, Medtech, Packtech & Sporttech etc.),
Consider textile future trends about smart textiles, wearable computers,

2. Week  The properties of technical textiles: Mechanical Properties, Changing Properties, Properties about Human Health and Protection Properties,
3. Week  Technical Fiber Structures - Woven fabrics,
4. Week  Technical Fiber Structures - Nonwovens,
5. Week  Finishing processes for techinal textiles,
6. Week  Coated technical textiles, textile reinforced composite materials,
7. Week  1st Project presentation
8. Week  The categories of technical textiles according to their usage areas: Argotech (agriculture, fisheries, gardening and foresty),
9. Week  Buildtech (Building and construction), Clothtech (footwear and apparels),
10. Week  Geotech (Geotextiles and civil engineering), Hometech ( furniture tecchnical components, home textiles and floor textiles),
11. Week  Indutech (filtration, transportation, cleaning and other industrial applications), Medtech (hygienic and medical applications),
