Be aware of the history, development and interaction areas of weaving tradition in the world,
Have a different perspective on contemporary textile practices,
Detect traces of the traditional values in contemporary practices.
Prepare specific projects about Traditional Turkish Arts,
Make a claim to Traditional Turkish Arts in terms of cultural values,
Analyze traditional Turkish arts with other disciplines.

1. Week  Course contents and objectives of the discussion.
2. Week  Etymological study of the concepts whıch used in Textile Industry.
3. Week  Definition and content of the concept of tradition. The relatıonshıp between tradition, culture and identity.
4. Week  Example of woven textile applications contemporary, and design.
5. Week  Discussion of researches about demonstrating the social lives of weavers.
6. Week  Comparison of traditional and contemporary woven design project.

8. Week  The process of weavıng Anatolıan Turks and Reflections of contemporary textiles.
9. Week  Features as a traditional Turkish fabrics of a value, comparison of contemporary examples.
