Explain friction and wear interaction
Take hold of wear mechanisms,
Understand different wear testing methods,
Realise how to use various parameters for dry and rolling wear testing,
Perform wear calculations,
Have the knowledge of specimen preparation,
Know and apply metallographic examinations.
