1. Week  Definitions of introductory concepts; introduction
2. Week   STRUCTURAL BASIC CONCEPTS and TERMS: Definition of the basic concepts and terms related to supra and super transportation nstructure.
3. Week  TRANSPORTATION and URBAN LAND USE: Urban system land use – transportation interactions and effects.
4. Week  TRANSPORTATION and URBAN FORM: Macroform – transportation network relation, city centre- transport system interaction.
5. Week  RBAN LAND-TRANSPORT MODES RELATION: Traffic composition, modal land uses, accessibility and mobility
6. Week  ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACTS OF TRANSPORTATION: Categorisation, policies, measures, remedies.
7. Week  URBAN TRANSPORT SYSTEMS: System elements, modal characteristics, public transport systems.
8. Week   INTRA-URBAN ROAD NETWORK: Functional classification of roads, technical characteristics;pedestrian roads, cycleways,cycle roads and boulevards.
9. Week   1 st MID-TERM EXAM.
10. Week  URBAN TRANSPORTATION PLANNING PROCESS: General description, staging, evalutionary changes.
11. Week  BASIC SURVEY METHODS AND TECHNİQUES IN TRANSPORTATION PLANNING: Data collection, basic analytical techniques.
12. Week   TRANSPORTATION MODELLING: Basic algorithm for modeling, trip generation, trip distribution.
13. Week  TRANSPORTATION MODELLING: Trip assignment, model split, network planning
14. Week  2nd MID-TERM EXAM.
