By the end of the course, students will be expected to be able to understand, explain, interpret and analyze
into processes, situations, circumstances critically ways in which:
news is determinated by varios factors in news processes
news is constructed by society/structure/system and ideology at the macro level,
also social actions and interactions, meaning and interpretation at the micro level
news occurs as a kind of knowledge also as a text, discourse, rhetoric or narrative
the processes of news production are influenced by the society/structure, ideology and perpetuates social power relations as well as individualistic f
