Student can interpret basic concepts on urban economy and basic dynamics orienting urban economy.
Students can explicate the relationship between plan decisions, urban land and value change.
Students can analyze the relationships and conflicts between urban economy and property institution.
Students can relate the change in urban economy to its social and political context.
Students can analyze the actors in urban economy, behaviour of these actors, rent controls and its tools.

2. Week  Dynamic urban models
3. Week  Theories of urban land use and rent theories; their relations to planning decisions
4. Week  Urbanization, new urban land production and change in urban land value.
5. Week  The relationship between urban land and private ownership of land and emerging conflicts
6. Week  Evaluating Turkey's urbanization process in terms of urban land value and urban land pattern.
7. Week  The ownership institution on urban land, ownership understanding and foundation
8. Week  Comparative ownership systems on urban land
9. Week  The formation of gap between urban land and urban land value, the management of urban land property problem.
10. Week  Evaluation of urban land ownership institution from the perspective of public interest and zoning plans

1To be able to analyze those phenomenon and issues related with the discipline of Management Science through a multi-disciplinary and integrated approach and to produce proper solutions.X
2To be capable of following the theoretical and practical developments within the fields of political and social sciences, administrative sciences, urbanization and environmental problems and law on national and international scales.X
3To have competence in the theories and other conceptual approaches related with the discipline of Management Science and to have the capacity to comment on these theoretical constructions from a critical perspective.X
4To gain a repertoire on European Union s administrative structure, local government policy in Turkey, globalization and localitization debates and new approaches in public administration.X
5To be equipped with the knowledge of Turkish Constitutional order, legal framework of human rights and international law.X
