To have knowledge about the characteristics of ashik literature year by year in Anatolia and to inform its representatives. To applicate some of folk
To have knowledge about the ashik literature’s development, characteristics and the most important pioneers year by year.
To provide the analysis of these ashik literature’s yields according to folklore theories.
To provide that problems which are about the ashik literature and to give an advice for solving these.

5. Week  To identify these dream etc. motifs in the tale texts and ashik biographies
6. Week  Gaining pseudonym, master-apprentice relation, ashik branches
7. Week  Form and type in ashik poetry and the style of ashik literature

1To improve and deepen the knowledge and competence which is derived from Turkish language and literature on the branch of Turkish folk literature.X
2To conceive the influence of Turkish folk literature (especially Turkish folklore) on interdisciplinary studies of whole social sciences.X
3To read, perceive and interpret the basic works of Turkish folk literature. To examine these works in terms of contemporary theories and methods.X
4Using the knowledge provided with interdisciplinary studies, to interpret the knowledge derived from Turkish folk literature and come up with new ideas.X
5To detect and find solutions for problems peculiar to Turkish folk literature through scientific methods.X
