To develop their knowledge of Old Uighur Turkish which they learn at graduate level so they reach speciality level.
To read, understand a text which belongs to Old Uighur period and express it with today’s Turkish.
To be able to identify phonetic and morphologic features of a text from Old Uighur period and they can seperate words into morphemes.
To be able to follow the developments of Old Uighur period’s phonetic and morphologic features beginning from Kokturk periods to Old Uighur period.
To be able to compare the phonetic mophologic and lexical features of Old Uighur period with today’s Turkish dialects.
