To comprehend theatre genre in Turkish literature that improved after Tanzimat period under the influence of Western literature.

1To improve and deepen the knowledge and competence which is derived from Turkish language and literature on the branch of modern Turkish literature.X
2To conceive the influence of modern Turkish literature (especially late history of Turkey, sociology, psychology) on interdisciplinary studies of whole social sciences.X
3To read, perceive and interpret the basic works of modern Turkish literature. To examine these works in terms of contemporary theories and methods.X
