1To improve and deepen the knowledge and competence which is derived from Turkish language and literature on the branch of modern Turkish literature.X
2To conceive the influence of modern Turkish literature (especially late history of Turkey, sociology, psychology) on interdisciplinary studies of whole social sciences.X
3To read, perceive and interpret the basic works of modern Turkish literature. To examine these works in terms of contemporary theories and methods.X
4Using the knowledge provided with interdisciplinary studies, to interpret the knowledge derived from modern Turkish literature and come up with new ideas.X
5To detect and find solutions for problems peculiar to modern Turkish literature through scientific methods.X
6To detect the school of a text peculiar to modern Turkish literature and the point of it in social process, besides to examine text theoretically.X
