1To improve and deepen the knowledge and competence which is derived from Turkish language and literature on the branch of classical Turkish literature.X
2To conceive the influence of classical Turkish literature (especially Ottoman history) on interdisciplinary studies of whole social sciences.X
3To read, perceive and interpret the basic works of classical Turkish literature. To examine these works in terms of contemporary theories and methods.X
