Students learn back wash effect of testing. They also comprehend the positive effects of testing on learning.
Students learn test types, important steps of test construction and important issues to be careful about when administring a test.
Students are introduced to vocabulary tests and they prepare errorless vocabulary tests.
Students are introduced to various grammar tests and they prepare errorless grammar tests.
Students are introduced to various pronunciation tests and they prepare errorless pronunciation tests.
Students are introduced to various reading comprehension tests and they prepare errorless reading comprehension tests.
Students are introduced to various writing tests and they prepare errorless writing tests.

Students learn item discrimination level and item difficulty level calculations and the concepts such as test validity and reliability.
Students learn new testing approaches such as portfolio and computer-assisted language testing.
