Students can define chemistry. They know the SI units. They can solve chemistry problems with the unit method.
Students can write the formulas of chemical compounds and equations for fundamental chemical reactions.
Students can explain atomic structure and chemical bonding concept.
Students can apply VSEPR rules for the determination of the molecular geometry.
Students can write basic chemical reaction equations and make calculations on chemical reactions.
Students can provide knowledge about states of matter (gas, liquid and solid).
