Knows the art of Turkish carpets and kilims in historical process
Knowledge the styles that make up the Turkish carpet patterns.
Can perform rug and Carpet design phases.
Can perform Carpet design according to Turkish carpet features
Can perform painting with the Turkish carpet colourise characters
Improving cognitive, perceptive psychomotor attitudes on the techniques used at the carpet design trends.

 --COURSE CONTENT
1. Week  Knowledge the place of Turkish carpet art in the process of dekoratif art history.
2. Week  Content of the course defintion, meaning historical process of Turkish carpet and rug art.
3. Week  Classification of the carpet and kelims, parts of carpet compositions, motif and color features, used in carpets
4. Week  Basic principles and methods tools and materials used in the design of carpet and kelim.
5. Week  Choosing a carpet having local features implementation of the carpet design principles
6. Week  Drawing techniques in the design, practical work the techniques of designing a carpet
7. Week  Mid-term Exam
8. Week  Classification of Ottoman palace carpets, features of composition, motives used
9. Week  Designing a new carpet depending on the features of an Ottoman carpet
10. Week  Accounting methods (border, ground etc.) according to quality and the fields of surface on carpet
11. Week  Drawing the appropriate motif and composition selected esgiz
