 --WEEKLY SCHEDULE
1. Week   Definition and classification of composite materials, Application areas (automotive and aircraft industry etc.)
2. Week   Ceramic fibers and their typical properties (glass, carbon, boron, SiC etc.)
3. Week   Matrix materials (aluminum, magnesium, titanium, zinc and their alloys)
4. Week  Production techniques of metal matrix composites.
5. Week  Impregnation of liquid metal (compression casting technique, powder metallurgy, etc.).
6. Week  Production methods (vacuum pressing, hand tilting, helical winding, profiling, etc.).
7. Week  Comparison of production methods
8. Week  Design of composites, fiber layout, macro-mechanical analysis. Strength theories in isotropic materials, strength theories in ortotropic materials
9. Week  Micro-mechanical analysis of composites, toughness and fatigue properties
10. Week  Fiber matrix interface. Adhesion wetting and dissolution bond, diffusion and mechanical bond
