Have knowledge about the definition of language, its functions, basic features of Turkish.
Knows the relationship between language and thought. Knows the place of Turkish language among world languages.
Gains the ability to express himself correctly and effectively.
Creates scientific text on subjects related to the field.
Understands and evaluates scientific texts related to the field.
Understands and evaluates scientific texts related to the field.
Gains reasoning ability according to the type of text encountered
Comply with the rules of spelling and punctuation in writing. Knows and applies the rules of composition.
Uses text types when creating appropriate text.
Practice on texts. Form official letters (petition, report, report resume).

1. Week	Definition of language, basic features of Turkish language, relationship between language and culture and cultural carrier of language. Difference of speech and writing language
2. Week	The place and features of Turkish among the world languages, historical periods and important works of Turkish language.
3. Week	The use and importance of punctuation marks.
4. Week	Spelling rules: Writing some prepositions and prepositions. Spelling of special names, numbers, quote words. Where uppercase and lowercase letters are used.
5. Week	Official correspondence: Petition, minutes. Application of these species.
6. Week	Official correspondence: Report, business letter, CV. Application of these species.
