To acquire proficiency at the Theory of Classical Western Music.
To understand the mechanism of tonal structure of Classical music as a fonction music and to lead up to learn Classical music harmony.
To recognize the qualifications of Classical Music instruments

 --COURSE CONTENT
1. Week  Tonal music, the concept of tone and introduction to tonality
2. Week  The circle of fifths, tones with sharps, and demonstrations by exercises.
3. Week  Demonstration of tones with flats, exercises and exemplify
4. Week  The explanation of relative keys and tones and exemplify.
5. Week  The explanation of mode and modal music, scales and Church Modes.
6. Week  The concept of cadance and cadance types and demonstrating by sheet notes and examples.
7. Week  The explanation of modulation, alteration and transpose and exemplify
8. Week  EXAM
9. Week  The categorization of voices and demonstration in staff.
10. Week  The categorization of female voices and demonstration in staff.
11. Week  Introducing to symhonic instruments. Demonstrating the register and timbre of strings by examples.
12. Week  Demonstrating the register and timbre of woodwinds by examples.
13. Week  Demonstrating the register and timbre of brass instruments by examples.
14. Week  Demonstration of the timbre and notation of percussion instruments by examples.
15. Week  Reviewing all knowledges via concert videos and audio files.
16. Week  Final Exam
