Be able to understand the historical geography of Byzantine Anatolia,
Byzantine Anatolia able to understand the cultural and artistic exchange,
Byzantine Anatolia circles around other cultures (Syria, Iran, Caucasus, etc..) And be able to recognize cultural relations with them,
Byzantine cultures in Anatolia (Armenian, Georgian, Arabic and Turkish) able to learn
by defining the different cultures in Anatolia be able to discuss their relationship with each other .

 --COURSE CONTENT
1. Week  Given general information about the historical geography of Anatolia.
2. Week  Anatolia is defined starting from the prehistoric cultural knowledge.
3. Week  Discusses the development activities of the Roman Empire in Anatolia . Roman cities , architectural works, intercity road network is defined.
4. Week  Discusses the cultural and artistic exchange in Anatolia during the Byzantine period . Architectural monuments of Byzantine Anatolia introduced.
5. Week  Regional differences in architectural monuments of Byzantine Anatolia defined . Differences in the material structures based on geographical condition
6. Week  Regional differences in architectural monuments of Byzantine Anatolia defined . Differences in the material structures based on geographical condition
7. Week  Armenian architecture, painting , and small handicraft products are introduced.

11. Week  Discusses the contribution of the first Islamic invasion told Anatolia Anatolian cultures.
