To analyze the history of medieval philosophy by considering philosophical activity and interaction in a broad region.
To examine the transformation of the antique philosophy in the patristic period in accordence with socio-political developments.
To analyze the appearence of Christianity as a universal religion and its interaction with pagan culture.
To examine the internal and external sources of philosophical thought in the Muslim World. The introduction of Greek Philosophy in the Muslim World
To inform about the Intellectual schools in the Muslim World –theology, mysticism and philosophy- and its prominent representatives
