Has a knowledge about history of Turkistan after Karahanlı Empire, especially invasion of Turkistan by Kara-Hitay and Mongols.
Learns the effects of those invasions on early Muslim Turkish States.

1. Week  Main sources on Khwarazmian history: Münşeat Mecmuaları, chronicles, travel books, memoirs, literary pieces, coins and epigraphs.
2. Week  General situation of Khwarazm region until Khwarazmians and the problem of origins of Khwarazmians.
3. Week  Establishment of Khwarazmian State and early periods.
4. Week  From Khwarazmian state to empire
5. Week  Annexation of West Karahanlıs by the Khwarazmians and Khwarazmian-Seljukid rivalry
6. Week  Invasion of Kara-Hitays to Maveraünnehir, last years of Atsız reign
7. Week  Fall of Khwarazmian Empire, Mongol invasion and Otrar disaster.
8. Week  Midterm
9. Week  Khwarazmian state structure and culture
10. Week  Atabeyliks emerged after the copplase of Seljukids: Fars (Salgurlullar), Azerbaican (İldeniz), Erbil (Beg-Teginoğulları), and Musul-Halep (Zengis) and
11. Week  First Turkish-Muslim Khanates in India: Delhi Turkish Sultanate (Muzzis, Halacis and Tuğluks)
