Students will have a basic knowledge about Turkish history which is from BC centuries to the middle of the century A.D. VII. in the Middle Asia.

1. Week  Short introduction on History and History Education, Features of Turkish History and its importance
2. Week  Motherland of the Turks and the first civilizations which were established in this area.
3. Week  Knowledge about the reasons of Turkish migration, the meaning of Turk, and Turkish lineage.
4. Week  Turkish tribes in Middle Asia before Huns: Sakas, Ti and Jungs, the hegomony they established.
5. Week  According to sources, Huns, on the eve of establishment of Xiongnu the ethnic conditions of Middle Asia, the foundation of Xiongnu and its early perio
6. Week  Throning of Mete on Great Hun Empire and His Campaigns. External affairs of Xiongnus.
7. Week  Stangnation period of Great Xiongnu Empire and the fates of North and South Xiongnu Empires after its seperation.
