11. İkinci dil edinimi teorilerini ve alandaki sorunları ve çözümlerini öğrenmis olmak.
12. Çeşitli akademik kaynaklardan yararlanarak araştırma makalesi ve tez gibi metinleri yazma becerisi kazanmış olmak.
13.Gerek İngilizceden Türkçeye gerek Türkçeden İngilizceye edebi metinler dâhil her alanda yazılmış metinleri çevirebilme yeteneğini kazanmış olmak.
14. Farklı kültürleri tanıyarak entegrasyon sürecine katkı sağlamak ve kendi alanlarında daha iyi iş imkanlarına sahip olmak.
15. Kültürlerarası iletişim kurmada, farklı kültürlerin algılanmasında, yorumlanmasında gereken donanımları kazanarak bunları kullanmak.
16. Resmi ve resmi olmayan mektuplar, film eleştirisi, broşürler, kılavuzlar, gazete makaleleri, özetler, CV ve niyet mektupları yazma konusunda gerek
17. Kamu alanında ve özel sektörde çalışmak için gereken dil hâkimiyeti, araştırma ve iletişim becerileri, güçlü bir genel kültüre sahip olmak.
