1. Week  Measurement systems, signals and standards, instrumentation
2. Week  instrumentation purpose, relationship between measurement and control
3. Week  principles of measurement
4. Week  measurement errors and calibrations
5. Week  Types of sensors and transducers
6. Week  Characteristics of sensors and electrical principles
7. Week  working principles of temperature sensors and their usage
8. Week  Thermocouples, temperature controls with NTC and PTC. Methods of temperature measurements.
9. Week  principles of photo-sensors and their uses. Photodiodes, phototransistors, photocells, IR tranceivers.
10. Week  Midterm
11. Week  Sound sensitive sensors and their uses. Microphone and speaker structures.
12. Week  Pressure and piezo-electric sensors.
13. Week  Motion, position, force, strain, and velocity sensors.
14. Week  Data acquisition and applications
