Ability to define the properties and selection criteria of the components of hydraulic-pneumatic control and power circuits.
Ability to define the functions of hydraulic and pneumatic circuits
Ability to read and analyze hydraulic and pneumatic circuits, ability to select control valves according to application types.
Ability of power unit design and selection of transmission lines.
The ability to apply the principles of ecomic in the design and operation of pneumatic systems.
Fault detection ability in hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

1. Week  Principal laws and calculated formules in hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
2. Week  Standaart symbols in the hydraulic and pneumatic equipments.
3. Week  Hydraulic and pneumatic actuators.
4. Week  Directional, pressure and floe control valves; selection criteria and application principles.
5. Week  Pumps; types, selection criteria and application principles.
6. Week  Hydraulic fluids, filters, pipes, hoses, connectors and types.
7. Week  Oil containers, accumulators, seals and their selection criteria
8. Week  Power unit design, basic circuit design trassmision line selection.
9. Week  Production maintenance and distribution of compressed air.
10. Week  Midterm Exam. Maintenance and fault finding in hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
11. Week  System design and setting the system up using hydraulic components in the hydraulic workshop with experiment sets.
12. Week  Design and drawing pneumatic circuits using different circuit drawing methods.
13. Week  System design and setting the system up using pneumatic components in the pneumatic workshop with experiment sets
14. Week  Circuit design and application using idle return roller switch valves for bloket signal in problem solution
