Being able to recognize the works regarding conservation and restoration theoretically at every stage
Being able to make applications of restoration and conservation regarding the field
Being able to determine the state of ceramics and tile materials which will be applied restoration and conservation

Being able to distinct the features of conservation and restoration
Being able to make solutions regarding the technical and design features of works

 --COURSE CONTENT
1. Week  Restoration and conservation conditions of the tile-ceramics works in Turkey
2. Week  Consolidation works at the places where tiles and ceramics works exist
3. Week  Exhibition conditions at the places where tiles and ceramics works exist (light, heat, humidity, dust etc.)
4. Week  Conservation and exhibition conditions of the tile and ceramics parts unearthed in the excavation sites in museums etc., in covered areas
5. Week  Examining the applications of Turkish tile – ceramics conservation
6. Week  Examining the applications of Turkish tile – ceramics conservation
7. Week  Midterm Exam
8. Week  Tile – ceramics restoration project (as in production)
9. Week  Determining a subject in traditional tile and ceramics reproductions
10. Week  Preparing the technical drawings of the selected subject in a fragmental style and having the patterns
11. Week  Determining and applying the technical, colour and compositions to be used in the project.
12. Week  Making the biscuit baking of the application
13. Week  Glazing the shaped product and lessening some parts and putting it into finishing stage
14. Week  Preparing the restitution drawings on similar products. Making the reconstructions of the parts according to drawings
