1. Week  Discussion of different ideas and opinions on "writing" and "to write"
2. Week  Writing as technology, recording / Writing, meaning and communication
3. Week  Creative writing, professional writing: Author (s), Text, Reader (s)
4. Week  The importance of a good idea (From diary, to a short story, internet and TV texts)
5. Week  Writing and editing. Story and narration (excerpts, delays, layers of narrative etc.)
6. Week  Point of View (homodiegetic narrator, autodiegetic narrator, heterodiegetic narrator etc.)
7. Week  Practice: Writing a traditional story with a different perspective
8. Week  Midterm exam
9. Week  Time (Fictive time, real time, reading time). Flashback, flash forward
10. Week  Audio-visual texts (word selection, sound and image balance)
11. Week  Television sitcoms
12. Week  Different techniques in TV script writing
13. Week  Practice: Write a new chapter in the situation comedy examined
