2. Week  Basic weaving motions, Shedding systems, hand looms shedding with pedal, Tappet motion, Cam shedding (inner & outer placed),
3. Week  Dobby shedding system,
4. Week  Jacquard shedding system,
5. Week  Filling insertion systems, Looms with shuttles,
6. Week  Looms without shuttles; Gripper looms, Projectile Looms, Rapier looms, Water jet looms & Ait jet looms,
7. Week  Mid-term Exam
8. Week  Definition of knitting & places used. Knitting terminolgy, basic knits & principles. Evolution, characteristics, classification of knitting machines,
9. Week  Classification of weft knitting machinestheir characteristics. Knitting elements of hand knitting machines. Loop formation in knitting machines,
10. Week  Yarn supply systems creels, tension controls, Knitting elements, fabric take uproll of electronic flat knitting machines,
