Understands the historical development of Turkish Decorative Arts
Explains the usage areas of Turkish decorative arts according to different material properties.

Discusses the period, style and technical features of Turkish Decorative Arts.

2. Week   Central Asian Turkish art and its formation, animal style
3. Week  Formation of Anatolian Seljuks, general style features
4. Week  Anatolian Seljuk period wood, stone, brick and tile decoration arts and their features
5. Week   Anatolian Seljuk period metal and ceramic decoration arts and features
6. Week   Anatolian Seljuk period weaving art and its features
7. Week  Motifs, symbols and meanings used in different materials of Anatolian Seljuk period
8. Week  Midterm
9. Week  Characteristics of Turkish art during the period of Beyliks
10. Week  The formation of Ottoman art and general style features
11. Week  Materials and decorative items used in the civil and religious architectural arts of the Ottoman period
12. Week   Ottoman period leather, illumination and skin arts
13. Week  Ottoman period weaving, processing and textile (fabric) arts
