1. Student can apply desktop publishing principles on a page layout.
1.1. Student defines the expectations and specifications of the viewer.
1.2. Student designs the typographic and visual hierarchy.
1.3. Student designs a creative and distinctive design.
2. Student become able to create signatures during layout design process.
2.1. Student become able to choose appropriate typeface creating relation between page design and hierarchy principle.
2.2. Student become able to choose appropriate images according to page layout.
3. Student become able to execute a model of the design.
3.1. Student become able to create two dimensional drawing of the design.
3.2. Within the above materials, students able to dominate adobe illustrator, indesign and photoshop programmes.

 --COURSE CONTENT
1. Week   Presenting basic page layout rules.
2. Week  Determining the principles that should be found in pictures and pictures used in desktop publishing, application of these needs with Photoshop program
3. Week  Examination of the Adobe Indesign program and the implementation of a single-page work, the use of image files and texts in design.
4. Week  The design and implementation of a Single Page Advertisement page, the collection of work done at the end of the course in a digital environment.
5. Week  Designing multi-page jobs in Adobe Indesign, setting page sizes, printing and post-processing.
6. Week  The design of a four-page brochure design and the design of a brochure at the end of the course.
7. Week  How to design magazines without page limitations and what to do in the direction of printing and post-printing processes.
8. Week   MidTerm Exam
9. Week  The creation of a 16 page magazine design, the use of master pages, the creation of articles in magazines and applications.
10. Week  Proceeding the previous half-finished practice study. Collecting digitals at the end of the lesson and deliver paper outlets to the next week.
11. Week  Examination of newspaper page designs and examination and application of how to make printed media tools such as large size, multi-page newspaper.
12. Week  Designing a newspaper in a newspaper format that is selected as a target, to draw text from word and different programs.
13. Week  Examination of Adobe Illustrator program, selection of subject for book project and selection of illustrations for project and project.
14. Week  Designing illustrations using Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop programs, editing book text indoors.
15. Week  Finalizing the book project.
16. Week   Final Exam
