The aim of the course:
This course includes teaching / learning principles and methods, basic and  post-graduate nursing education, including individuals / groups / societies, health / disease / professional learning needs assessment, planning, implementing the education / training process, skills and attitudes towards monitoring aims to gain.
Course Objectives 
Student; 
- To know basic education / teaching principles and methods,
- To establish the relationship between basic education / teaching principles and theories with nursing education,
-Understand the importance of basic education / training principles and theories for health education / patient education / in-service education,
- To be able to define the education process,
- To be able to choose appropriate teaching techniques for different target groups,
-To develop educational material for different target groups,
-Analyze developed educational materials in terms of suitability,
-Develop effective educational environment for individuals, patients and groups to provide health care and
-To participate in group activities.

Identify basic education/training principles and methods
Establishes a relationship basic education/ training principles and theories with nursing teaching.
Comprehend the importance of education/ training principles and theories for health/education/patient training/in-service training
Explain the importance/benefits of education technologies in the education process
Select suitable teaching techniques for different target groups
Develop education material for different target groups
Analyze developed education material in terms of suitability
Form an effective education setting for the purpose of providing healthcare for individuals, patients, and groups
Practice learnt techniques for the purpose of providing healthcare for individuals, patients, and groups
