The shape, pattern, structure and function of urban settlements on historical periods.
Evolution processes and their causes of cities.
The urban settlements and planning approaches are developed from historical periods to nowadays.
The effect of natural conditions ans traditional patterns (social, physical and economical) on the urban settlement forms and planning.
Effects of technological changes on the urban areas, the planning concept and techniques which are developing according to modern urban life needs.
Interpreting and considering the current state of the urban area according to the planed-unplanned developments in historical periods.
Considering historical identity of city on urban planning as a planner.
Learning the cultural, historical, political, social and economic factors and values of cities from the earliest civilizations to nowadays, will be a
