1. Week  Introduction to Operations Research: Concepts, Types of Models
2. Week  Introduction to Linear Programming(LP): Constructing LP models
3. Week  The Graphical Method: • Geometric interpretation of constraints and the objective function • Solving LP problems using the graphical method
4. Week  LP Applications: • Limitations of the graphical method, • Canonical Form
5. Week  The Simplex Method: • Solving maximization problems using the simplex method, • The geometric interpretation of the simplex method.
6. Week  The Simplex Method: Solving minimization problems using the Simplex Method
7. Week  Sensitivity Analysis: • Concepts, • Geometric sensitivity interpretation, • Post optimality analysis based on the simplex solution,

9. Week  Primal and Dual LP Models
10. Week  Interpretation of post optimality analysis based on the dual optimal solution
11. Week  Network Models: Constructing LP models for the Transportation Problem

1To gain the required the basic knowledge of business’s functions of management and organization, marketing, production, accounting and finance, and related to other disciplines and to be able to critically questioned.X
