Students who have successfully completed this course will be able to have knowledge about the basic subjects of philosophy and relate these subjects to education;
know basic philosophical movements and associate them with education;
know the educational moevements related to philosophy;
know the views of the important philosophers that lead the field of philosophy and discuss these views in the context of education;
understand human nature, understand individual differences;
know the different political or economic ideologies and their relation to education;
discuss the Turkish education system in a philosophical context.
