1. Week  Introduction to aquatic Insecta Aquatic habitats, classification of inland waters
2. Week  Physico-chemical characteristics of Lentic ecosystems
3. Week  Aquatic Insects of Lentic ecosystems, sampling methods of aquatic insects.
4. Week  Physico-chemical characteristics of Lotic ecosystems
5. Week  Aquatic Insects of Lotic ecosystems, sampling methods of aquatic insects.
6. Week  Water pollution and water quality criteria (physico-chemical and biological)
7. Week  Determining aquatic insect orders with samples
8. Week  Midterm exams
9. Week  Presentation by student: Introducing Plecoptera and Ephemeroptera orders (power point); By Instructer: General evaluation of both orders
